Monica Lăzurean-Gorgan is an experienced producer and a member of the AMPAS/Oscar, as well as EFA. Monica is the producer of the successful documentary Acasa, My Home by Radu Ciorniciuc, winner of the Sundance Cinematography Award and other 40 international awards, delegate producer for Touch Me Not by Adina Pintilie and co-producer for Chuck Norris vs Communism by Ilinca Calugareanu. Monica is the director for feature length documentaries such as A Mere Breath, winner of Best Doc in Sarajevo IFF, Best Doc in CEE Vienna IFF, co-director of Wood, premiered in HotDocs and CPH:Dox 2020 etc

He studied multimedia module at National University of Drama and Cinematography Bucharest, prior to this he obtained a philosophy diploma at Bucharest University. He is a video editor and has signed many awarded documentaries and fiction films as: “Acasa, My Home” (director: Radu Ciorniciuc, awarded in Sundance, Tiff Romania, Krakow, Munich, Thessaloniki), “A Mere Breath” (director: Monica Lazurean-Gorgan, (awarded in Sarajevo), “The Free Dacians” (co-director), “Domestic” and “Best Intentions” (director: Adrian Sitaru) the last one awarded in Locarno.
ELENA MARTIN
PRODUCER
Elena has a BA in screenwriting and a MA in film production at UNATC, Bucharest. She has been part of the East-West Talent Lab 2022 in Wiesbaden, EDP – East Doc Series – 2022 with the documentary series Imaginary Youth and Ex Oriente Film – 2022 with the documentary project Chasing Stumps. She is the executive producer of the short films Kaimos by Sarra Tsorakidis (winner of TIFF Cluj 2020), Laila by Raya al Souliman (official TIFF Cluj 2020 selection). Since 2019, she has been working at Manifest Film, being part of the projects such as the EFA awards nominee Acasă, My home, which premiered in Sundance Film Festival and Timebox, acquired by HBO. She is developing and producing features, series and shorts, documentaries as well as fiction, by established and emerging directors.

A highly successful chartered accountant with experience in financial reporting and film production accounting. Experienced tax consultant with over 11 years of practice in financial accounting and tax issues for artistic activities, copyright and investment grants. Dedicated professional with extensive knowledge of the tax codes and ways to legally lower tax liability for clients.
LAURA TROCAN
OFFICE MANAGER
Laura is a theater and contemporary dance producer, with 10 years of experience in organizing cultural and educational events both in the public and independent sector.
Since 2018, she has coordinated cultural projects and has been collaborating with artistic groups within the performing arts and cinematography field.
